Seth Rose is a graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law and a former Richland County (Columbia, SC) Assistant Solicitor--a position in which he prosecuted at trial various crimes, including DUI, Drug & alcohol offenses, burglary, armed robbery, and even murder.
Prior to embarking on his law career, Mr. Rose earned a bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina where he was a First Team All-America singles tennis player for the Gamecocks. In September 2014 he was elected into the University of South Carolina Athletics Hall of Fame for his accomplishments on the tennis court.
In June 2010, Mr. Rose was elected to Richland County Council and now represents County Council District 5 which includes Five Points, the Vista, the USC campus, and the surrounding areas and neighborhoods. Because of the efforts of Councilman Rose, jail mugshots in Richland County are no longer posted in magazines and online websites that extort money from citizens accused of crimes to have the mugshots removed. For his various accomplishments that have positively impacted the Columbia region, Councilman Rose was named one of the Top 50 Most powerful/influential people in Columbia, SC by one leading publication. The readers of this publication also voted Mr. Rose the Best DUI Attorney in Columbia.
